The project

D4N Bus Tracker is an independent, open bus tracker focused on West Yorkshire — every stop, route and bus in the county, plus the services that pass through it from beyond.

Its look is drawn from West Yorkshire's textile heritage — the woad indigo of the old dye houses, wool-cream and millstone greys, and a woven warp-and-weft motif that doubles as a map of the route network.

It's built in the open with public data and grows in phases: stops and the live map first, then full timetables and departure boards. Live vehicle tracking is already running.
